FIPS, our unique fruit import and ripening planning tool, now presents itself with new features:
fipsFORECAST | Quantity planning
NEW: Quantity converter
One calculator, many quantities. From kilograms to boxes and pallets to containers - this is how cargo and maturation volume is efficiently used.
NEW: Demand planning
Capture of planned, forecasted, historical (planned, ordered, and delivered) quantities in order to enable future planning. Additionally offers can be viewed and an index signals a deviation from previous year's values at a glance.
fipsORDER | Order planning
NEW: Import and sales articles
Order loose items, sell matured and packed items - with conversion factors you always plan and order the correct quantities.
NEW: E-mailing and packing list import
Send orders directly from FIPS by mail with a packing list attached and store it automatically at the respective order. An e-mail from the supplier with the completed packing list will be automatically detected and attached to the order, additionally all information from the list will be written into the system. In this step a vessel trip is automatically generated to achieve throughout traceability on pallet level (COI, SSCC).
fipsTRANSPORT | Transport planning
NEW: Quality management
Accept goods mobile and do arrival assessments by scanning the pallets and documenting them via photos and definable questionnaires.
NEW: Multible transport planning
Transportation planning by drag & drop. From ship to intermediate storage, to the ripening plants or between two storage locations.
NEW: Vessel trips
Vessel trips provide information about correlated supplier orders. As soon as a delay of a vessel is reported by one supplier, all related orders even from different suppliers on the vessel are automatically adjusted to the new arrival date. This allows rapid response which is essential for ensuring the timely delivery to the customers.
fipsRIPENING | Maturity planning
NEW: Quality management
Quality assessment in the ripening chambers with expandable questionnaires and possibility of photo documentation including a calculable estimate of losses.
NEW: Warehouse planning
Storage levels can be planned in advance and storage locations can be assigned to give simple instructions to the warehouse operators to never leave a pallet out of sight. Due to the automated FIFO principle no goods or pallets are overseen in the warehouse anymore.
